Overview:
Users can highlight periods on an activity graph in MAGs and remove speed, heart rate or accelerometer data, similar to the functionality on the SAG. Removing data can be a very useful tool to ensure data consistency and help prevent decisions being made based on errant data. Common examples of this include spikes in the speed trace at half time caused by players entering and leaving their respective dressing rooms. In this manner, we can ensure our calculations only considers relevant and ‘true’ data.
Set Up:
To remove data:
1. Select and highlight the desired region you want to remove data.
2. Select ‘Remove Data’ icon to remove data over the zoomed window.
3. In the ‘Remove Data’ pop up window, users can edit the start and end time as well as the type of data to be removed
4. Press the ‘Edit Players’ icon to select or deselect players you want to remove data from.
5. Once you are satisfied with details, select ‘Remove’ to complete the data removal, or ‘Revert’ to cancel.
Note:
Ensure you recalculate data to ensure that data is re-aligned post removing data.
