Overview:
Percentage of Max Speed allows you to customize zones by entering the percentage of the player max speed you wish to use to define the zone ranges.
Set Up:
1. Go to Settings > General > Formats and select % of Max Speed
2. Go to Player Management and select the Player Profile > Characteristics you wish to edit and make sure the Max Speed is updated.
3. In the same Player Profile, go to the Zones tab. 6 zones will be outlined detailing the zone range. This means the zone will count actions performed between those values. In the image below, Speed Zone 4 will be calculated when an athlete is running above 41% max speed (14.4km/h) and below 56% max speed (19.8 km/h).
4. The zone’s upper threshold can be customized by entering the desired value in the text box on the right column. Only the upper threshold can be customized, so in order to change the zone’s lower threshold you must change the previous zone’s upper threshold.
5. Click ‘Update’ to apply settings.
Note: if a player’s Max Speed is updated, the relative zones will readjust automatically based on the new max speed value.
Tip:
If you wish to enter the same relative zone values for multiple players, you can save time by using the ‘Apply Defaults to Players’ tool.
This can be useful if you want to set all player’s Relative Zones to the same % of Max Speed whilst keeping different Absolute Zones settings.
