Overview:
Zones are also available in the Relative format. Relative Zones are specific to each individual athlete, allowing the user to customize zones to player’s individual characteristics.
Relative Zones personalize the analysis, tailoring performance metrics to each athlete’s unique physiological profile. By anchoring metrics to individual markers such as maximum speed or aerobic capacity, relative zones offer a deeper understanding of an athlete’s capabilities and limitations.
These are useful when comparing the physical output of players in relation to their physiological profile (i.e. Player A covered more distance when running above 75% MAS than Player B).
Relative Zones can be customized by Speed Units or by Percentage of Max Speed. Speed Units (Km/h, m/s, etc) allows you to customize zones by entering the speed value in your selected speed unit, whereas Percentage of Max Speed allows you to customize zones by entering the percentage of the player max speed you wish to use to define the zone ranges.
Set Up:
1. Go to Player Management and select the Player Profile > Zones you wish to edit.
