Overview
The more options button contains several methods of further data analysis.
Session analysis can be completed using Max Intensity Periods, Sub-Max Intensity Periods, Segment Drills & Scrum Analysis (rugby-specific).
Recalculate
After editing any player or squad zones after download, a recalculation can be completed to update historical session data to reflect these changes that have been implemented.
Check for New Max Values
After sessions have been downloaded, users can search the session for new max values for players for max speed, max heart rate, max acceleration and max deceleration.
This allows users to ensure their player profiles and relative zones remain up to date with any changes
they incur.
Max Intensity Periods
Max Intensity Periods (MIPs) provide users with the most demanding phases of play based on the selected metric and time.
MIPs provide coaches with the most intense periods of a game and they can therefore construct drills to replicate game demands in order to ensure that players are prepared for these periods.
Sub-Max Intensity Periods
Sub-Max Intensity Periods will provide users with a pre-determined percentage of their Max Intensity period.
The sub-MIP % can be edited within the Drills & HIBs tab in Sonra settings.
This feature allows coaches to determine the physical loading that would be required if they wish to incorporate a drill(s) into sessions for reduced or repeated efforts of these periods.
Segment Drills
The Segment Drills feature allows sessions to be divided according to either fixed time drills (FTD) or fixed number drills (FND).
FTDs allow the user to select a duration of an interval they wish to analyse, and apply this to their session.
FNDs will separate a session into a chosen number of equal sections, irrespective of the session duration.
Segments can be applied to any single selected drill.
